Basketball Wives Reunion May Not Happen Due to Face-Slap Lawsuit!

According to TMZ, the reunion many fans have been waiting for may not happen. In the most recent episode of Basketball Wives, Evelyn Lozada's friend/assistant Nia Crooks got into a heated argument with Jennifer Williams when all hell broke loose as Nia got up from her chair and slapped Jennifer on the side of the head. Nia's argument stemmed from the fact that Jennifer seemed to have left her by the wayside after her (Jennifer) and Evelyn's relationship went sour. But the thing is, Nia openly gave Jennifer a place to stay and keys to her house while Jennifer was going through her divorce with ex-basketball player Eric Williams and felt like Jennifer should have remained a loyal friend to her regardless if she had ties with Evelyn. Jennifer decided to sue Nia for assault and battery after the incident which took place in Florida back in January of this year. TMZ was able to speak with sources at VH1 who have stated they feel the lawsuit is basically BS and "was filed out of spite and desperation to dredge up drama around her character -- in the vain hope of securing a spot on the show next season."

Right before the slap went down, Tami Roman (ex-wife of Kenny Anderson) asked Jennifer about these lawsuits and paperwork they received out of nowhere. Jennifer basically replied that she should be able to enter a room and stay there and not feel/get threatened by anyone. Obviously Nia ignored what she said and decided to approach Jennifer anyway.

After learning about the lawsuit, many of the wives are not looking to be a part of the reunion if Jennifer will be there. We don't know how this lawsuit will turn out but according to TMZ, the Basketball Wives contract clearly states "Participant expressly assumes the risk of any physical or emotional injuries participant may suffer as a result of participant's participation in the project."
