"Sources close to the family tell TMZ the family is disgusted the photo was printed and they have no idea how security surrounding the casket was breached. We're told the family could tell from the photo that it was taken from inside the funeral home, but they have no idea who would have snapped the pic."
Carolyn Whigham who is the owner of Whigham Funeral home, spoke with Daily News and explained her outrage and states her staff had nothing to do with the leak. "We did not take that photo. We did not sell the photo. We would never do something like that," stated Whigham. She also went on to explain that she has received death threats since the leak of the photo.
It is unclear who leaked the photo but according to TMZ, Whitney's family will not investigate who snapped the picture any further.
