Beyonce Stops By "The View: Talks About Her 4 Album & Her Break Away From The Spotlight

With her latest ablum 4 being a success, Beyonce stops by "The View" to talk about her music, her upcoming movie role and how important it was to take a break away from the spotlight.

What's Your View Of A Normal Life:
"My mother was very very persistant and kept telling me I had to take care of my mental health. Get a chance to really enjoy life and everything that i've been able to accomplish because it was starting to become kinda fuzzy...I couldn't even tell the difference between which day and which city I was in."

What Did You Do That Was Normal:
"Well I went to see museum's, I went to see ballet's, I went to visit The Great Wall of China. Everywhere i've been but never really got to see."

Did You Ever Get To See Your Husband:
"I did. I went on tour with him and I got to see the shows from the audience which is something that I don't get a chance to do. I was really really inspired."

Did You Ever Feel Slightly That You're Life Was Unreal (asked in regards to Amy Winehouse's death):
"Well, not really unreal but I didnt get to see the impact i've been able to have on so many people. I would sit in award shows and they would give me an award and I just was thinking about the next performance and never really thought about how fortunate I was. I was just on to the next project and on to the next day. It just was kinda unfortunate to be able to do all of the things that i've done...like i said i've been to all these great places and to not see anything but the hotel room; i'd literally look at the stage and thats when I knew where I was."

On Beyonce Wanting To Re-Write Her Place In Music:
"I feel like this album is all about the music and it's really exciting to me because I took all those inspirations and I took a lot of live instrumentation and I mixed all these different genres together. I didn't necessarily think about radio or think about the things I usually do....I felt like more heart and soul and real lyrics and stories should be brought back to popular music."
